PRODUCTION / SHIPPING / RETURNS
My artwork is created at the comfort of my own home! Though, at times I will work on my art while I travel.
The physical prints themselves are manufactured in the United States, primarily in Colorado, California and even North Carolina. This allows for a nation-wide network to ship from. Volitant Visuals is US-based and operated with available International shipping. Production time for every print/order is around/up to 3 days, unless stated otherwise on the product page. Typically, the most common delays in production time occur during the busier holiday months. If a delay occurs under the usual production process, I do my best to expedite the shipping at no extra cost to you, to ensure you receive your order in time.
ONCE PRINT HAS SHIPPED, you will be given a tracking number via email, or you can opt-in for messages and alerts on shipping status during the checkout process.
PRODUCTION DURING THE HOLIDAYS:
I HIGHLY recommend ordering your favored products in advance if you intend on gifting them for the holidays, as there may be delays in both production and shipping due to the holiday rush. The manufacturer prints artwork for many artists, and while they have a great track record, they do hit bottlenecks themselves. Please see the shipping info below for estimated time frames.
Free standard shipping is available for orders above $50.
About 1-9 business days shipping time.
Shipping in United States and US Territories include standard rates by default. Expedited and overnight options are available unless stated otherwise on the product page.
Domestic carriers include: USPS, UPS, FedEx.
For the states of AZ, CA, CO, ID, NV, OR, UT and WA, OnTrac may be a possible carrier.
Shipping times Internationally: Expect up to 21 business days or more. (This can vary due to delays going through customs and hand-offs to local carriers)
Due to the global events since 2020, there may be delays depending on your country.
Shipping Internationally (such as Canada, Mexico, the UK and elsewhere) only includes standard shipping times. Expedited and overnight options are NOT available.
Custom duties and taxes are the responsibilities of the customer/recipient.
International carriers include: Royal Mail, DHL, DPD, India Mail.
SHIPPING DURING THE HOLIDAYS:
Holidays will lengthen the production and shipping times. I highly recommend ordering at least 3-4 weeks (or 1 whole month) in advance if you wish to receive before any holidays. Due to the holiday rush, expedited shipping options may not be available.
If purchasing Internationally, I recommend ordering at least two months in advance, for good measure.
Ongoing global events have given rise to delivery issues. If you seem to be experiencing issues such as long delivery times, please don't hesitate to send a message to email@example.com.
If you are curious, the total maximum estimated time from the day you place your order to the day you may receive it (basically the total combined time of production and shipping) can be as follows:
Up to 15 days.
If in the unlikely chance you have yet to receive your package after 15 days, please check the status of your order via the tracking number given to you, or contact me if that does not solve the issue.
Up to 30 days or more.
As already stated above, shipping times can vary due to customs and hand-offs to local carriers.
RETURNS / REFUNDS / REPRINTS
Due to the custom-printed and personalized nature of our products, returns and exchanges can be a time-consuming ordeal. At the very least, I hope that you will be very satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event you wish to (or need to) return your print or exchange it for another, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and provide full details of reason for returning. If a return is accepted, the return address will be provided with a printable label.
I can only honor return requests 30 days after you receive your print from the carrier. I will use the tracking information provided from your order information. If a return request requires more than 1 day to process, it will not be added to the 30 day requirement.
LOST PACKAGES / DAMAGES / REPRINTS:
If you received a print with defects, please take photos showing the entire printed product, and a close-up shot showing the defective area. Please provide those photos with a description of the issue and your order number. I will contact the print manufacturer to have a reprint shipped to you at no extra charge.
Lost packages can happen, thankfully very rarely. In the event the tracking information shows inactivity for 7 days or more, I will work towards sending you a reprint. Or, you can contact me and let me know.
I DO NOT accept returns if products are sent back to me without prior notifications (ie, please do not send something back to me if you never contacted about a return or exchange beforehand).
