In the southwestern landscapes of the United States roam wild horses known as Mustangs. They come in a variety of colors, but they all have a powerful ethos to their existence. World War II warbirds like the P-51 Mustang were built with incredible horsepower to tackle the enemy overseas; some pushed more than 2,000 horsepower like the Vought F4U Corsair. Sometimes we have need for that horsepower. Otherwise, we just love having it.

Artist's comment: I immigrated to the United States from Asia at the age of one. I grew up with a love for American cars and trucks. Warbirds weren't in my radar until much later in my life, and now they hold a more powerful allure for me than a classic Corvette. Animals were never a big subject for me, so this was an exciting one to work on, which led to additional artwork featuring horses down the road. I even drive a car named after these guys.
